The Youth Council is where young people come together to lead, learn, and make real change for our communities and our environment. If you're ready to take action, we’re ready for you.
What is the Youth Council?
The Alliance for the Mystic River Watershed Youth Council is made up of people under the age of 24 who are passionate about protecting the lands and waters of the watershed—and ensuring youth have a voice in shaping the future.
Youth Council members advise the Alliance by bringing youth perspectives into board and staffing decisions, and work on initiatives that matter to them alongside like-minded peers from across the region.

We live by the motto:
“If you’re old enough to care, you’re old enough to do.”
If something matters to you, you’re already ready to take action.
