Community Action Team
The Community Action Team (CAT) is essential in shaping the Mystic River Vulnerability Assessment. Over the next few weeks, the CAT will host a series of conversation circles related to climate vulnerabilities and solutions. See below for event details and registration.

Longer term, the CAT will strengthen communication and relations between neighbors, friends, and family to build momentum for our Watershed Regeneration Action Plan. This plan will identify and analyze watershed issues and develop strategies to address them. With the WRAP in place, we can collaborate with our allies to solicit and guide millions of dollars in investments to enhance the safety and health of our communities.
The CAT consists of community members who are eager to take an active role. This core group strengthens existing relationships and forges new ones to ensure communication across the watershed.

Make a Difference
Your voice and your relationships matter. By participating in the CAT, you will take part in monthly conversations and workshops that guide and inform the Alliance's major projects. By recruiting and talking with your neighbors, friends, and family, you will grow momentum for cohesive watershed planning. These plans will identify issues in the watershed, including climate vulnerabilities, and collectively design solutions to them. With these plans, we can pursue funding and collaboration with our allies and partners to implement them. The CAT is comprised of our community members who are the most motivated to play an active role. It is the core group who builds on existing relationships and creates new ones to help us talk with everyone in the watershed.
