Bioregional Finance
In collaboration with our thought and practice partners the BioFi Initiative, The Capital Institute, and the Northeastern Woodlands Bioregioning Collective we are working towards creating a bioregional finance facility to support innovation, development, and scaling of regenerative enterprises across the focal areas we have identified above.
This will require the continued weaving of public and private financial resources into a coherent strategy for systemic investment that seeks to protect and restore the quality of our ecosystem and environment along with our regional economy. This initiative has a nested relationship with the development of a genuinely bioregional regenerative finance facility in collaboration with NEWBC, which is currently developing its design and strategy across the same focal areas.
The Alliance relies on your donations and your input on how to best use your investment for a viable future for the Mystic River Watershed, and is actively building relationships with funders to support this facility in line with the eight principles of regenerative economics.
