About the event
Grab your snack and your water bottle, your PFD and whistle, and your paddle. Hop on to your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard and join adventure kayaker Steve Fagin and the flotilla that will begin in Old Mystic promptly at 8 (see below for other areas and estimated times to join in for a shorter paddle).
Beach and gather up (or stay afloat) with the Yootay Singers to Honor the River in the way he has been honored since the beginning of human habitation. If you have a different way of honoring the river, share it!
Our host Chris Gasiorek, Mystic Seaport Vice President, will share their environmental reciprocity plans. If we are lucky, the muhshoon makers who have been busy all week preparing their special offering for the upcoming Entwined exhibit might still be there to celebrate with us.
